Shraddanjali to this Legend on his 90th birth anniversary, A Bishnupriya Manipuri folk singer, lyricist, composer and dramatist He was born on 14th December 1932 brought up his childhood life in Kehurgaang Village, Dullabcherra, Assam. He is considered one of the most successful folk singers of Bishnupriya Manipuri Community. He was awarded the “Gokulananda Gitiswami Sonman ” by the Gukulalananda Gitiswami Trust, Guwahati and won a title of Geetratna from NBMM ,Tripura with a GOLD Bangles by another BM Community Gem, Social Worker and Health Minister of Tripura Late Bimal Sinha.
