Bishnupriya Manipuri Vivid Culture

The Bishnupriya Manipuri and Meitei Manipuri culture is influenced by each other resembles Cultural Flavours (Ruhibriti), both communities follows the same Maharaasleela and the Meiteis are the current ruling class in Manipur. The Bishnupriya Manipuri are an Indic race who claim to be the first cultured race to rule the kingdom of Manipur. They speak the Bishnupriya Manipuri language, which is part of the Eastern Indo-Aryan languages and evolved from Magadhi Prakrit. The Bishnupriya Manipuri language has two dialects and includes more than 8,000 words that are not found in Assamese or Bengali. For example, “I am going” is “Mi Jauriga” and “We are going” is “Ami Jiarga”.  The Bishnupriya Manipuri people fled Manipur in the 18th and 19th centuries due to internal conflicts and Burmese attacks, taking refuge in Assam, Tripura, Sylhet (Bangladesh), and Cachar. During this exodus, they carried their culture and heritage with them to their new settlements.

রূপর বাজারে বেরা লাগিয়া গুনর কদর নাকরতারা,
নুয়া মারির দিনে হায়তা কম, মিসাতা জবর গুজুরতারা।।

Mr. Krishna Sinha, an Indian Climate Activist Who is hailing from Cachar District of Silchar Assam (INDIA), a decent Bishnupriya Manipuri Boy, who have been Working on Nature, Environment, Social and Climate Justice since 2010. Born in 16th November 1992. Written Two Poetry one of that is “Nature and Humanity”. Besides that he loves to help people’s currently in touch with Karma Karyarat NGO.

The term “environmental activism” is defined as the actions of individuals or groups that protect or aid the environment. Taking urgent action to tackle climate change and its impacts. Why? Climate change is caused by human activities and is threatening the way we live and the future of our planet. By addressing climate change, we can build a sus- tainable world for everyone. Climate justice is a human-centered approach to climate change that links human rights and development. It aims to find solutions to the climate crisis that reduce emissions and protect the natural world while also creating a fairer and more equal world.

Shraddanjali to this Legend on his 90th birth anniversary, A Bishnupriya Manipuri folk singer, lyricist, composer and dramatist He was born on 14th December 1932 brought up his childhood life in Kehurgaang Village, Dullabcherra, Assam. He is considered one of the most successful folk singers of Bishnupriya Manipuri Community. He was awarded the “Gokulananda Gitiswami Sonman ” by the Gukulalananda Gitiswami Trust, Guwahati and won a title of Geetratna from NBMM ,Tripura with a GOLD Bangles by another BM Community Gem, Social Worker and Health Minister of Tripura Late Bimal Sinha. In memory of our great heavenly leader Comrade Late Bimal Sinha’s birthday.
Date of birth – 16 th October 1949
Date of death – 31st March 1998
In your 73rd birthday, my heartiest salute to him on this auspicious day. Bimal Sinha became a member of the party’s State Committee in 1978. He later became Deputy Speaker and then Speaker of the Assembly. He was not only living a life of a politician, more than that he was a poet and a novelist.
As a young politician you were the best leader ever. As your honest and great socialisms you win thousands heart among the BM Community as well as Others too.
I wish more great leaders like you are born in this new generation. Let your political ideology be their path.May they do great service to the society.
I will not forget you. He did the most important work on BPM Literature,that is collecting ancient proverbs popularly known as poureis.

She is Hailing from my Birthplace Manipur, as I was also Born and raised in Manipur. Anyways Let me Write ✍️ something about her. Licypriya Kangujam Born 3rd July 2009, 12 years old is a Children Climate Environmental Activist from Northeast India Manipur. Hailing from Bashikhong Village, Manipur. Popularly Known for Rising Voice to Combat Climate Change. Her Mother Name – Bidyarani Devi Kangujam, and Father Kanarjit Kangujam (K K Singh). Received Lots of Awards, A.P.J Abdul Kalam Children Award, World Children Peace Prize Same year 2019, Global Child Prodigy Award, Nobel Citizens Awards, 2020. International Women’s Day Awards by Delhi Govt in 2021. Visits Lots of Places like Mongolia, Africa, COP25 Summit urging with the world leaders to act now on Climate Change. She has been campaigning to make lessons in climate change mandatory in school and as per her request the Government of Gujarat has included climate change in School Education. She also work for the nation for the sake of Poor needy people during India Need Oxygen Emergency she delivered a Oxygen Concentrator and also sent 100 oxygen cylinder for the people of Manipur and Bihar as well to save lives by providing oxygen to needy poor people.
